- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Honey Garlic Sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Garnish
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, cornstarch, and water.
Pour the sauce into the skillet and reduce the heat slightly.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until it thickens.
Spoon the sauce over the chicken several times so each piece is evenly coated.
Continue cooking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with parsley and sesame seeds.
